So Long, Farewell

After two long years and four months, we bid farewell to "Ancient Copper" (which through the years was called anything from orange to salmon and even pink) and WELCOME "Latte" chocolate. There were times when we did like Ancient Copper. In the fall when the autumn decorations were out, it was beautiful. At night, when the sun went down, it toned down and looked softer and not so intense. There were times when my house was clean that it looked "put together" like a page out of a magazine. For the most part, however, it is hard to live on a page in a magazine. It got too intense and closed in on me. So while the painters are here painting the bedroom we put them to work in the kitchen/family room. Looks better, huh? Do you think I will ever get my house back to normal after all this construction mess????

  1. gaaah!! I didn't even get to see it when it was that color of salmon!! Geesh. So therefore I am going to have to see it when it is all finished. So...just wondering if that whole birthday dinner party would really be a go..I just might want to book my airplane tickets so trying to get it figured out. Thanks love you!

  2. And I know your house is going to look so great when it's done! I have many great memories of brittney, carson, mike and I growing up in that house.

  3. I feel for you. My house is a torn up mess right now too.
We are getting rid of the flooring in the kitchen, frontroom and hall and putting in hardwood floor. Are carpet was so bad it couldn't be cleaned and the glue that held down are kitchen floor was separting. So it was time to replace it. But we forget that the wood has to set for a little bite before it can be installed. So we are living with no flooring in the upstairs. So we decided that since we have to wait we might has well paint.
