Last week we not only traveled to Pennsylvania, but we traveled through time back to a distant century it seemed. Here are some glimpses of what a good time we had.
Do you think Amish horses can read speed limit signs?
The best homemade pretzels, ever!
Awesome quilt shop in Intercourse, PA. Not only do they sell quilts, but stock hundreds of bolts of fabric. The top floor is also a quilt museum.
Loved the name of this town.
Tristan found the shop voted "Best ice cream" in Lancaster county.
A solemn visit to Gettysburg. I didn't understand the sacrifices that were made there before.
Dinner by candlelight. We ate in this old Tavern called Dobbin House in Gettysburg. It was built in the 1700's and was there during the battle at Gettysburg. Candles are the main source of light. It was great food, too.
We really enjoyed this trip more than pictures can tell!
