English is a Foreign Language
Kaitlin has been struggling a little with her English. She misses speaking Spanish and stumbles to find the right English words sometimes. Yesterday, we went to sign her up for a cell phone. The salesperson was showing her all the features and asking which ones she liked best. Kaitlin threw her hands up in the air and said, "I guess it's a throw up." I looked at the salesperson who had a puzzled look on her face and told her Kaitlin had been speaking Spanish and was having trouble with English. "I think she means 'toss up,'" I said. We had a good laugh. That was a good one, Kaitlin!
